Transaction Sidekick ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Transaction Sidekick software service. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We collect information you provide directly:

Account information (name, email address) when you register
Transaction data you enter or upload, including purchase agreements and related documents
Communications you send us

We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, features used, and error logs, to improve the service.

How we use your information

To provide, operate, and improve Transaction Sidekick
To process uploaded documents using AI extraction (Google Gemini)
To sync calendar events to Google Calendar when you authorize it
To send you product updates and support communications
To comply with legal obligations

Document and transaction data

Purchase agreements and other documents you upload are processed to extract transaction information. Uploaded files are stored securely and are never shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the AI extraction service. You retain ownership of your data at all times.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

Google Gemini — AI document processing
Google Calendar API — calendar sync (only when you authorize)
Google Sign-In — authentication
Cloudflare — hosting and file storage

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hi@transactionsidekick.com.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted storage and secure transmission (HTTPS) for all data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
